PocketRN is thrilled to announce our approval as a participant in the groundbreaking CMMI GUIDE program.
Learn MoreThis is a step-by-step guide for editing an existing meeting on PocketRN. Please read the steps below and watch the accompanying demo video. Editing an existing meeting includes changing the participants or contact methods for participants in a meeting, rescheduling a meeting, or canceling a meeting. In this demo, the care coordinator, Carrie Corden, reschedules a meeting for her patient, Patrick “Pat” Goodheart.
Caregiver Account
Carrie Corden is a care coordinator for a facility with patients. Her job is to schedule a meeting for her patient, Patrick “Pat” Goodheart. Tori, Pat’s daughter and Power of Attorney, will be another participant of the meeting.
For this scenario, we’ll be considering the flow from Carrie’s, a care coordinator’s, perspective. You’ll want to consider your situation and adjust accordingly. The app will guide you through the process.
Editing the meeting participants will change who receives notifications about the meeting and who will appear in the list of participants when viewing the meeting. If you add a new participant, they will be notified of the meeting immediately. Anyone you remove from the meeting will no longer be notified.
Canceling the meeting will notify all participants of the cancellation. If you leave a cancellation note, that will be viewable by all participants as part of the notification.
Rescheduling the meeting technically cancels the existing meeting and walks you through the registration flow for finding a new time. Note that the existing meeting will only be canceled after you confirm the new meeting time. The existing meeting participants should be pre-set for the rescheduled meeting, but you may adjust them accordingly. You cannot reschedule the meeting to the same time as the existing meeting.
