We are looking to grow our team of remote Registered Nurses.

Role

The Nurse Cohort Manager plays a key role in building and scaling a high-performing team that delivers exceptional quality of care. The nurse cohort manager will oversee a team of virtual nurses and monitor KPIs while supporting the vision, mission, and values of PocketRN and creating a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader in the organization and assist the department in creating a “nurse first” mentality to create a strong culture of team engagement while managing day to day activities of the remote nursing staff
  • Be an example of the Vision, Mission, and Values of PocketRN to the care delivery workforce
  • Advocate for nurses regarding issues they observe or feedback received from nurses, including, but not limited to, clinical resources, product/technology, workflows, patient experience, nurse experience, etc.
  • Champion and lead change initiatives by effectively communicating the vision and creating a culture of continuous improvement
  • Supervise and manage a team of virtual nurses across multiple partner types while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Provide frequent, constructive feedback on performance and documentation
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new nurses
  • Manage and elicit feedback from nurses throughout the nursing journey at PocketRN
  • Partner with training specialists to provide professional growth opportunities for nursing staff

Qualifications

  • Ability to understand the mission, vision, values of PocketRN and how we are an important and strategic part of the healthcare continuum.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think critically when facing challenges.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and thriving in an ever-evolving environment.
  • Leadership experience in a management or operations role.
  • Current and active RN license.
