We now have a distinct account type for care coordinators and partner staff who want access to all users in a clinic or to a set of user groups (locations) in a partner network. The “care admin” dashboard allows partner staff to access all users in that clinic and facilitate their care. Some examples of the functionality care admins have are:
Users in a clinic can now be split up by user group. Care admins in one user group cannot access the patients, caregivers, or care admins in a different user group. Users, however, can be added to multiple user groups if needed. A great use case for user groups is to scope a partner by their regions or locations. This is especially useful for franchises under a corporate license with PocketRN. Data can also be rolled up from all or some locations for collective data insights.
Language preferences for website and meetings
Users can select their preferred language for the website in their profile section. Currently, we support English and a beta version of Spanish. Whenever a user is added, their language preferences can be chosen for them by the individual adding them.
Users can also specify which language they prefer for meetings. In their profiles, Nurses can select their medically proficient languages. They must also specify proficiency in their medical languages. Language proficiencies are used in PocketRN’s matching algorithm; patients and caregivers with their meeting language preference as English will more likely match to Nurses with more medical competency in their preferred language.
Nurses can now add caregivers for patients they meet with when scheduling a meeting or viewing the participants of an upcoming scheduled meeting. The flow for adding a caregiver for a patient is the same as that of any other user that adds a caregiver of a patient. Note that for security reasons, a nurse may be able to add the caregiver, but may not always be able to adjust their permissions (i.e. if the patient is considered an established patient on PocketRN).
Nurses can now add recurring shifts for themselves. This mitigates the need to add dozens of ad hoc shifts to support visits multiple weeks out. With recurring shifts, nurses can specify the times, the clinic(s), and the days of the week they wish to be available for visits. There is no limit to the number of recurring shifts one can add and these shifts can be easily modified in the future to change times, days, and clinics.
